FITZGERALD, Canon John (Retired Parish Priest Aughagower and formerly of Clooncan, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon) - February 28, 2011 (peacefully), at the Queen of Peace Nursing Home, Knock; deeply regretted by his brothers, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, relatives, his archbishop, clergy, religious, of the Arch Diocese of Tuam and a large circle of friends. Reposing at the Queen of Peace Nursing Home, Knock this (Tuesday) evening from 6 o'clock with removal at 8.30 o'clock to the Church of St John the Baptist, Knock. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1 o'clock Burial afterwards in Ballyhaunis Cemetery.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
