JORDAN, Olive Mary

JORDAN (Olive Mary) (née Byrne) (1913-2010) - May 28, 2010, sadly, our beloved mother died in Dublin, in the presence of her family after a long illness. She bore her illness bravely and with good humour to the end. Olive was a devoted mother to Sandra and Karl, loving wife to the late Dermot, faithful sister to Nuala and Austin and loved her daughter-in-law Carolyn, Sandra's partner Richard and her grandchildren Christopher, Daniel and Robert very much. Also, a true friend and neighbour to Angela and Tony for many years. She cared selflessly for Dermot during his final illness and also cared for Nuala in recent years. She was devoted to her animals and garden and loved every opportunity to travel. A true lady, full of grace and style, she was always smiling in good humour. Her family, friends and neighbours miss her terribly already and will love her always. Olive arrived home to 4 Avondale Park, Killiney yesterday and will be removed from there to St Joseph's Church, Glasthule this (Monday) evening to arrive at 5 o'clock Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10 o'clock, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross.
