NEESON, Bernard (Killiney, Co. Dublin) - September 7, 2019 (peacefully ), in the tender care of the Blackrock Hospice. Greatly loved husband for forty-five years of Dee, much loved father of Alexis, Cathy, Conor, Frances and Cormac, affectionate father-in-law to Sarah (Holt), Kevin McMahon and Natasha (Marcos) and wonderful grandfather to Joshua, Jacob, Andrew and David; loving brother of Anita, Angela, Paul, Marian, Clare, Moya and the late Gerry. Will be sadly missed by his extended family and a wide circle of friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home Funeral Home, 5 Newtown Park, Blackrock, tomorrow (Wednesday ) evening from 6.00 o'c. to 8.00 o'c. Requeim Mass on Thursday at 10.00 o'c in Church of the Assumption Dalkey with Cremation thereafter in the Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome. Family flowers only please. NEESON, Bernard (Killiney, Co. Dublin), died September 7, 2019. As we approach Bernard's first anniversary, his wife Dee and his children Alexis (Sarah), Cathy (Kevin), Conor (Natasha), Frances and Cormac would like to thank all who sympathised with us, sent cards, attended his reposal and funeral and those who have kindly walked the road since then with us. Our thanks also go to the Blackrock Clinic; very special thanks to Fr. Tom Nash C.S.Sp.of Blackrock College for the comfort he gave to Bernard in his last weeks and for the uplifting celebratory funeral Mass; to Susan Maguire and Dermot Laide of Massey Bros., Blackrock, for their calm help and guidance; to the staff of the Royal St. George Yacht Club and to the crew of Bernard's beloved yacht Nirvana. Deeply heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of Blackrock Hospice for their gentle care of Bernard during his final days - we will never forget your incredible kindness and compassion to all of us. We will always remember and celebrate Bernard, especially his deep love and care for our family over a well-lived but far too short lifetime.Sail on, Captain.
