SMIET Bernadette (Aunty Bernie) (Mount Merrion) - June 13, 2009, (peacefully), after a short illness, at the Beacon Hospital, beloved wife of Theo, loving mother and best friend of Maryke and dear Nana to Patrick and Daniel; she will be very sadly missed by her family, her brother, sister-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at her home from 5 o'clock this (Monday) evening. Funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) after 10 o'clock Mass, from the Church of St. Therese, Mount Merrion, to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Donations, in lieu of flowers please, to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.'The bravest person we know'
