BYRNE, Sr. Carmel, in her 99th year, (formerly of the Convent of Mercy, Beaumont) May 15th, 2022, peacefully, in the loving care of the Staff and Sisters of Catherine Mc Auley House, Beaumont, Dublin 9. Predeceased by her brothers Paddy and Peter and sisters Johanna and Kitty (Barnfield). Sadly missed by her Mercy Community and Sisters in South Central Province, her devoted nieces and nephews including Fr. Peter Byrne, her extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at Lanigans Funeral Home, Beaumont Road today (Wednesday) from 5.00 p.m. to arrive in the Church of the Nativity, Beaumont for 6.30 p.m. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 11.30 a.m followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold's Cross Road, D6W HY98. Requiem Mass available on the parish website www.beaumontparish.ie/webcam or via phone at 01-847 7740, option 6. Leaba I measc na naoimh a bheith aici.
