HOLDEN-BRENNAN, Rhona (Ballinasloe, Co. Galway) - July 30, 2013. Peacefully after a short illness at University College Hospital, Galway, in the presence and loving embrace of her grandchild, husband Seán, daughters Monica and Louise, and sons-in-law Bernard and Mark. Funeral and House strictly private. Donations in lieu of flowers and cards if desired to Esker House Women's Refuge, Athlone, or Womens Aid. A special note of thanks to the exceptional staff of St. Gerard's Ward, U.C.H.G, for service well beyond the call of duty. A ceremony of celebration of Rhona's life will be announced at a later date.

HOLDEN-BRENNAN, Rhona, (Ballinasloe, Co. Galway), July 30, 2013, (As previously announced). A ceremony of celebration of Rhona's life will take place on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10am in Brigit's Garden, Roscahill, Co. Galway. All are welcome.

<p>Terrible loss</p> <p>I was deeply saddened to learn of Rhona's passing. I went to Rhona for counselling at a very traumatic period in my life. She offered me words of kindness and empathy, and healed my soul. She was a beautiful human being. I will pray for Rhona, her colleagues and especially her family. God bless you Rhona xx</p>
