McGRATH Jeremiah (Miah) (Midleton, Co. Cork) on September 14, 2016 peacefully in the loving care of the staff of the ICU, Bon Secours Hospital, Cork. Beloved husband of Kathleen (née Frawley), loving father of Judy, Susan, Debbie, Miah and Ken, grandad of Kevin, Jill, James, Alan, Faye, Kate, Ruby, Miah, Joy and Aleks. Sadly missed also by his sister Anne, brother Jim, sons-in-law Eamon, Ed and Patrick, daughters-in-law Michelle and Iwona, his extended family, relatives and friends. Lying in repose at Hyde's Funeral Home, Drury's Avenue, Midleton, Co. Cork this (Friday) from 5.30pm until removal at 7.30pm to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon at 2.00pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu to a charity of your choice.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
McGRATH Jeremiah (Miah) ("Fenlow", The Park, Midleton, Co. Cork) - On this the First Anniversary of Miah's death, we his family wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on our loss. A sincere thank you to his GP and good friend Dr. Hugh Doran, also to the doctors and nurses in the ICU department of the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork for their upmost kindness and compassion. We also wish to thank Anthony and all at Hyde's Funeral Home for assisting us through our very difficult time with their kind words and professionalism. A special thanks to Fr. Eamon Roche for officiating at the funeral and for being a great comfort to the family. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude. First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated this (Thursday) evening at 6.20pm in Midleton Hospital Chapel.May he Rest in Peace.
