HALLINAN, Cian (Monkstown, Dublin and Douglas, Cork) - February 23, 2012 tragically at his home. Cian was a writer, teacher and film maker. Darling son of Noreen and Frank and loving brother of Aengus, Ben and Fiona. Deeply regretted by his granddad Clem, sisters-in-law Fiona and Norma, aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews Ronan, Cillian, Darragh and Ciaran, and his many caring friends, relatives and colleagues. Reposing at Carnegies Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown. Civil Funeral Service at Newlands Cross Crematorium on Wednesday (February 29) at 2pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Fighting Words:(www.fightingwords.ie).

HALLINAN, Cian (Dublin and Cork, died February 23, 2012) - On this the first anniversary of Cian's passing, Frank, Noreen, Aengus, Ben, Fiona and Cian's extended family wish to thank most sincerely all of Cian's friends and colleagues and our friends and colleagues who sympathised with us on the very sad and untimely loss of a wonderful person who brought so much joy to all of us. We would like to acknowledge and express our warmest appreciation to all those who attended the service, sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards and letters of sympathy, those who called to the house and those who travelled to be with us. We would also like to thank everyone who donated to Fighting Words in Cian's memory. It has been a difficult and sad year for all of us but we have been given strength by all of the kindness and support we have received from so many. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation."They lived and laughed and

HALLINAN - Cian - On the Tenth anniversary of Cian’s passing his parents Noreen and Frank, his brothers Aengus and Ben, his sister Fiona, their spouses Fiona, Norma and Barry, his nephews and niece, and Cian’s many friends all remember him with love, joy and sadness today and everyday. Cian is also remembered by the extended Hallinan and Hennessy families.

<p>RIP Cian</p> <p>I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Cian. He was one of the funniest, most intelligent guys - a true loss. Working with Cian was a joy every day. He is loved my students from all parts of the world. May he rest in peace.</p>
