GEANEY John, (Rockbarton Green, Salthill, Galway, Ex A.I.B. and formerly Aghabullogue, Co Cork) - January 19, 2018 (peacefully) in the tender care of Galway Hospice. Beloved husband of the late Marie, much loved father of Marian, Declan, John, Tom and partner to Eileen; sadly missed by his daughter, sons, partner, brothers Olan and Pat, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, his adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Reposing at his home on Monday, January 22, from 4.00 p.m. with prayers at 7.30 p.m. Removal on Tuesday to Christ the King Church, Salthill to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Parkinson's Association or Galway Hospice.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis

It is with great sadness that I read about the death of my cousin John. I met him at my mothers funeral (Johns fathers sister) in 1999 and have corresponded ever since. He was a great man
