WATERS - George Thomas, BE, MBA, PhD, (Foxrock, Ballina, County Mayo, Brussels & Geneva), former Director General of RTÉ and former Technical Director of the EBU, Geneva Switzerland. Died November 9, 2022 at the Blackrock Clinic in the care of wonderful doctors, nurses and care assistants. Loving husband of Mary (née Byrne), superb devoted father of Mark & Charles, adoring & adored Grandpa of Ella & Oliver, brother of David. Deeply mourned by his family his daughters-in-law, Maria & Farah his sisters-in-law, Betty, Lucy, Gabrielle, Nuala, Maura & Grace, his brothers-in-law, Raymond and Joseph, nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family and friends. Prayers at home on Friday, 11th November from 6.30-7.30pm. Extended family

Funeral cortége arriving at Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock on Saturday 12th November for mass at 10am, followed by cremation at the Victorina Chapel in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross at 1pm.
