ROBERTSON, Joan Dorothy (née Carroll) (born August 21, 1934) - October 1, 2011 in Victoria, BC, Canada, unexpectedly. Beloved wife of Alastair, mother of Peter, Sally and Nigel (died 2001), sister of Betty, Desmond (died 2002), Alan, Derek and Valerie and grandmother of Taylor, Connor, Margaux, Sheena, Anna-Marie, James and Max. Cremation and burial at St. Stephen's Church in Victoria, BC, Canada, tomorrow October 8, 2011. Sadly missed by friends around the world.

<p>What an amazing person</p> <p>Love you Mum - a beautiful full life - 27 homes in 52 years - around the world - Ireland to Canada to Cyprus to Nigeria to Ethiopia to Canada to Libya - you were so brave and strong and an inspiration to everyone - we miss you - a beautiful funeral was held in your honour in Victoria BC - all your sisters and brothers were there - your family - your children, your grandchildren, so many people loved you so so much - you were an amazing woman - rest in peace - no more pain - Love you so very much - your son Peter</p>
