RYDER, James (Jim) - Born in Ardboe, County Tyrone, Ireland, died peacefully at his home in Ballantrae, Ontario, Canada on June 2, 2018 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his wife Ann Carmel (née Breen) of Downpatrick, Ireland. Survived by son Shane (Denise) of Pickering, Ontario and daughter Gráinne (Kieran) of Waterloo, Ontario; grandchildren Róisín (Grant) of Addison, Texas, Seamus (Sarah) of Halifax, Nova Scotia; sister Maureen Haire of Peterborough, England; and his companion Erika Rummel. Visitors are welcome to O'Neill Funeral Home, 6324 Main Street, Stouffville, Ontario Canada, (905)-642-2855 for visitation on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 2.00pm until 4.00pm and 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10.30 a.m. in St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 345 Glad Park Avenue, Stouffville, Ontario Canada. Interment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southlake Regional Health Center Foundation or the Chalice Fund.
