HARMON, (née O’Brien) Carmel (Ashford, Co. Wicklow and formerly Killiney, Co. Dublin) February 23, 2023 – (peacefully) in her 83rd year, in the superb care of Prof. Graham Hughes & Team, Medicine of the Elderly and the Staff of St. Agnes Ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Patrick, loving mother of Aisling and David, grandmother to Mark, Patrick and Sean, and aunt to Martine, Niall, Niamh and Eileen Mai. She will be very sadly missed by her extended family and friends. We thank Margaret, Siobhan and Natalie (HomecareDirect) who afforded exceptional care supporting her wish to remain at home. Carmel’s Humanist Service and Cremation will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon, February 28, at 3:45 pm at the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, D6W HY98. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed at https://www.mountjerome.ie/garden-chapel-service/. No flowers please.
