Treasured Memory of a great teacher.

It was with great sadness that I recently learned from my classmate John Kenneally of "Frankie's" passing. During those intoxicating years of the Second Vatican Council, Frankie was a theological pillar in AHC. I had the opportunity to speak to him during our 40th anniversay celebration just two years ago, and he amazed me by recalling meeting my mother in AHC, the evening before I was ordained. In recent years he bore with patience and grace the cross of his illness and deteriorating health. May that cross now be transformed in his sharing in the glorious life of the Risen Lord. His influence as a teacher is an ongoing and treasured reality in my life at 67. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.

Eugene Ryan (Class of 1969)
