ANDERSON, Frank (Professor Emeritus U.C.D. and Ardilea, Dublin 14) - November 5, 2016, in his 87th year, with his family present in the excellent and loving care of the staff in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Vincent's University Hospital, beloved husband of the late Brigid, loving Dad to Fergal, Deirdre, Carol, and Colm and to his daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, inspirational grandfather to Vannessa, Conor, Sean, Eoin, Ailbhe, Ailse, Henry, Ben and three great-grandchildren; sadly missed by his remaining six sisters and one brother in the United States and England, his extended family and many friends, especially his golfing companions in Castle Golf Club. Removal at 9.30am on Wednesday morning from the Mortuary Chapel in St. Vincent´s Hospital for 10.00am Funeral Mass at Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
