DOHERTY, (née McCarthy), Anne V., (Nancy) (Rathfarnham and Kenmare), January 22, 2017. On the First Anniversary of the death of Nancy (wife of the late Bill), her children, Marie, Orla, Liam and Enda and our families, together with her sister Sheila, wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised on the loss of our wonderful mother. We would like to express our warmest appreciation to all those who attended the reposal and funeral Mass, particularly those who travelled long distances to be with us, and those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes or letters of condolence. We were very touched by the many expressions of sympathy we received from relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours and the many fond memories which were shared. Our thanks also to those who made her Funeral Mass so special, in particular Fr. Sean O'Leary (C.S.Sp) and Fr. Brendan Madden (Ballyroan), organist Anne McNulty and soloists, Colette Delahunt and Marion Megannety, and for the expert assistance throughout of Massey Brothers, Templeogue. A special word of thanks to those who cared so tenderly for Nancy during her final months at Kiltipper Woods Care Centre. As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this notice as recognition of our appreciation and gratitude.
