HAYES, (Limerick and Southwark, London), April 15, 2017, (unexpectedly), after a short illness at Mater Private Hospital. Rev. Professor Michael A. Hayes, (President of Mary Immaculate College). Dear son of the late Séan and Margaret and beloved twin brother of Elizabeth (Griffin). Deeply mourned by his loving brother David Aidan, sisters Deborah (O'Neill), Marjorie (O'Malley), Bredette (Keane) and Marie-Thérèse (Foley) sister-in-law Gertrude, brothers-in-law Tom, Gerard, Kieran, Mark and Mike, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, uncles Dermot and John Reid, his MIC colleagues, Archbishop Peter Smith (Southwark), Bishop Brendan Leahy (Limerick) and his fellow priests, other relatives and his many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Mary Immaculate College Chapel, S.C. Road tomorrow (Tuesday) April 18 from 4pm with Evening Prayers at 8pm. Arriving at St. John's Cathedral on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery. Further enquiries from Griffin's 061 415000. Deepest sympathy to all the Hayes Family. It was with great sadness we learnt of Michael's death. We have many happy memories from his time at St George's Cathedral, Southwark. Patrick and Patricia Taylor.
