MANNING, Conor passed away on April 26, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife Emma, and children Lucy and Brian, in the gentle care of the staff at St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh. He will be very sadly missed and remembered with great love by Emma, Lucy and Brian, by his siblings, Maurice, Eleanor, Kathleen, Joe, Justin, Tom, Michael, Mary and Monica, his brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at his home, Alliganstown, Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare (W91W7C3) on Sunday, April 28 from 3pm to 6pm. Removal from his residence Monday morning to arrive at St. Kevin's Church, Hollywood for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by private cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium.
MANNING - (Hollywood, Co Wicklow) - On Conor's first anniversary, his wife Emma, children Lucy and Brian, along with the Manning and Harney families and close friends, remember Conor with love and sadness. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the many family, friends, and well-wishers who travelled from near and far to be with us during Conor's funeral. Your presence provided invaluable emotional and practical support during this difficult time. We thank all those who telephoned, sent cards, and messages of condolence. Your kind words and shared memories have truly touched us, and we are deeply appreciative. To the friends and neighbours who were so attentive to Conor and us during his long illness, thank you for your kindness and generosity. A special word of thanks to Prof. David Gallagher and the oncology team at The Hermitage Clinic for the wonderful care given to Conor over the years. We also thank the team at McGreal's Pharmacy, Blessington, for their service and support. A very special thanks to the palliative care team, the management and staff of St. Brigid's Hospice the Curragh, where Conor spent his last few weeks. During this time, Conor was treated with the utmost kindness, respect, and dignity. To all those who participated in the Mass, especially Fr. Prendiville, the wonderful singers and musicians for the beautiful music. To the community of Hollywood for their friendly and welcoming catering at Conor's funeral, and to Francis Tutty Funeral Director for his kindness and professionalism. Your continued kindness, friendship, and love mean so much and are greatly appreciated. As we are unable to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
