GILROY, Maura (née Murphy) - October 13, 2011, Rathfarnham and Moate (peacefully), after a short illness in St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, dearly loved wife of the late Myles and loving mother of Denis, Carmel, Angela (O'Connor), Oonagh (McClean) and the late Kevin; she will be greatly missed by her loving family and adored grandchildren Keara, Kevin, Katie, Lauren, Stephanie, Andrew, James, Mark and Emma, sons-in-law Patrick and Alan, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many special friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at her residence today (Friday) from 4 o'clock to 7 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) after 10.30 o'clock Mass in Terenure College Chapel to Mt. Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.
GILROY, Maura (née Murphy) (Rathfarnham and Moate, died October 13, 2011) - On the occasion of her First Anniversary, Denis, Carmel, Angela, Oonagh and families would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the sad loss of a loving and much loved Mother and Grandmother. We would like to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral Mass, those who sent Mass Cards and letters of sympathy. A special word of thanks to Fr. Michael Troy who concelebrated the Mass and all the community of Terenure College for all their help and support. Heartfelt thanks to the Choir of St. Pius X Church where Maura had many wonderful years as a member. Maura's first anniversary Mass will take place on Saturday, October 13, at 9.30 a.m. in Terenure College Chapel. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation.
