McCARTHY, Elizabeth

McCARTHY (née Byrne), Irene Elizabeth (Glenageary, Co. Dublin) - January 18, 2013, (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of Glengara Park Nursing Home. Beloved wife of Patrick McCarthy. Much loved mother to Owen, Donald, Brian, Francis, Maeve, Kevin, Peter and Maria. Devoted grandmother to Hélène, Stephen, Aoife, Medb, Laoise, Henry, Anna, Ellen, Padraic and little Irene. Deeply regretted by her sisters, Marie and Ita, and brothers, John, Donald and Peter; her sons and daughters-in-law and extended family and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at her home from 4pm until late this Monday evening, all welcome. Removal tomorrow, Tuesday at 10.30am to the DEC Church, Lower Glenageary Road for 11am service, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. Family flowers only please.
