LYNE (North Rd., Castletownbere, Co. Cork) - February 22, 2012 (unexpectedly); Dr. John H., predeceased by his brothers Brendan, Harry, Fr. Francis and his sister Maureen. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, sons David, Patrick, Andrew and Henry, daughter Dympna, grandchildren, brother Coleman, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Harrington's Funeral Home Castletownbere. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) at 8pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Castletownbere. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2pm followed by burial in Droum Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Castletownbere R.N.L.I.May he Rest In Peace

<p>Condolences to all Dr. Lyne's family</p> <p>I have brought a group hiking every year from Massachusetts. It was thanks to Dr Lyne we were able to climb Hungry Hill and he became part of our story and happy memories. </p>
