O'CONNELL, Maurice (Templeogue, D.6W, formerly of Moyvane, Co. Kerry) - April 1st, 2019 (peacefully), in the wonderful care of the staff at the Mater Hospital, Formerly of Dept. of Finance and Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland. Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Tracey), much loved father of Tom, Catherine, Martin and Marjorie. Maurice will be forever loved and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Nicola and Norah, son-in-law Thomas, his grandchildren Rebecca, Darragh, Aoibheann, Alannah, Oran, Eleanor, Riain, Dominic and Luke, sisters Bess (McCarthy) and Dymphna, brother-in-law Louis, extended family, relatives and wide circle of friends. Requiescat in Pace. Removal to St. Pius X Church, College Drive, Terenure, Dublin 6W, tomorrow (Thursday) evening, April 4th at 5.30pm. Funeral Friday morning after 11am Requiem Mass to Mount Venus Cemetery, Edmondstown. Family flowers only, please, donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
