CURTIN - Professor Christopher (Chris) (Ballyglunin, Tuam, formerly of The Heath, Galway and The Roadside Tavern, Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare) 27th September, 2025; peacefully after a long illness, bravely borne, in the company of his family at the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Andrea and loving father to Emily (O Donnell), Stephen and Eoghan. Chris will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter and sons, son-in-law, daughters-in-law and by his adored grandchildren. Deeply missed also by his brother Peter and wife Birgitta, nephews and nieces, relatives, close friends and neighbours and a wide circle of former colleagues at the University of Galway. Reposing at the OFlaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on today (Saturday) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. A Cremation Service will be celebrated in loving memory of Chris at 1 o'clock tomorrow (Sunday) at Shannon Crematorium.

House private. No flowers please. A donation, if desired, may be made to Cancer Care West.

May he rest in peace.
