TREACY, SMA, Rev Fr Thomas, Society of African Missions, (late of Claretuam, Tuam, Co Galway), on December 11, 2021, peacefully at St Theresa’s Nursing Unit, SMA House, Blackrock Road, Cork. Predeceased by his parents T P and Nora (née Canavan). Deeply regretted by his sisters Breda (Keane), Nora (Corrigan) and Marian (Helly), his brothers Anthony, Brendan and Bertie, his aunts Sr Pius Canavan (Presentation Convent, Clonmel) and Mrs Monica Seavor (Liverpool) and his aunt-in-law Mrs Kathleen Lowry, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, other relatives, friends, the people of the Archdiocese of Kaduna and the Diocese of Kano, Nigeria, and his confreres in the Society of African Missions. Funeral Mass at 1.30pm today (Wednesday) which can be followed on the Parish webcam http://www.corofinbelclare.ie/ Funeral afterwards to Claretuam Cemetery. In light of the ongoing restrictions, it is respectfully requested that those attending the funeral should strictly adhere to all social distancing and sanitising guidelines, wear a face covering and avoid shaking hands.
