NEWMAN (Fr Laurence Thomas, P.E.) (Retired Parish Priest, Mountrath and Newbridge) - November 15, 2005, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise; deeply regretted by his nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sister- in-law, devoted housekeeper Margaret, Bishop Jim Moriarty, priests of Kildare and Leighlin Dioceses, parishoners, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at St Fintan's Church, Mountrath today (Wednesday) from 12 Noon. Prayer Service this evening at 7 o'clock Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 Noon followed by burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown (at 3 o'clock approx).
