MEDCALF, Cecil Thomas, December 16, 2020, peacefully in his 95th year in the wonderful care of Brabazon Nursing Home, Sandymount. Dearly beloved husband of Joan, dearly beloved father of Alan, Sheila, Helga, Linda, Ian, Nigel, Grania, Sarah-Jane and Karl-John. Father-in-law of five sons-in-law and three daughters-in-law. Much loved grandfather of twenty (soon to be twenty one grandchildren) and great-grandfather of little Samuel and William and their newly born sister Eva (Cecil's first great-grandaughter (unseen). Also, brother-in-law Richard, sisters-in-law Helga and Krstl, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. He will be very sadly missed. Funeral service strictly private. No flowers please. Those who would have liked to attend the service but due to the current restrictions cannot, may leave their personal message in the condolences section 0n www.irishtimes.com. The service may be viewed online this (Monday) morning at 11.00am on the following link; www.stmatts.live For the LORD is good, his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
