FAHY - Jim (Gardenfield, Tuam and RTE) – January 14, 2022

On the First Anniversary of Jim’s death, his wife Christina, children Shane and Aideen and extended family wish to express sincere gratitude to everyone for their support and kindness over the past year. We remember with great fondness his sense of fun, his kind heart, his vibrant spirit and his love for life. We are so sorry that it was not possible to have a traditional wake and spend time with you all as we would have wished. We would like to thank all the attendees at Jim’s funeral mass, both in person and online from around the world and Colonel Stephen Howard who represented President Michael D. Higgins. A heartfelt thanks also to those who sent cards, flowers, e-mails and online condolences. It was heartening to know how much Jim was loved and esteemed by friends, colleagues and his viewers.

Please accept our gratitude and appreciation for your kind thoughts and deeds.

most begins and ends,

And say my glory was

I had such friends.’
