QUINN - Conor (August 31, 2020)- A year after his passing, Conor remains a constant and treasured presence for Hilary, Ciara, Ronan and Cillian, his loving and much loved family. We have been supported throughout by his many loyal friends, some from his school days, many developed over his years in business and a small band who came to know him and help him during the various stages of his illness. We owe them all our gratitude for their many kindnesses and their testament to the affection and regard in which he was held. The volume of floral tributes, letters, Mass cards, texts and posts on RIP.ie brought great comfort to all the family.
Sadly, some of his closest friends have also passed in recent times and we share the loss felt by their families.
There are no words to adequately express our gratitude to the doctors, the medical staff and the wonderful carers who looked after Conor and, ultimately - and with special thanks to Sarah - allowed us to have him at home for some precious final days. His funeral mass, concelebrated by Fr. Vincent McMahon and Fr. Tom Nash - beloved of so many past pupils of Blackrock - accompanied by wonderful and uplifting music, took place at the height of the Covid restrictions. This did not prevent our many neighbours, our golfing and family friends from making their presence felt within the limits of the rules at the time. As a token of our appreciation, Fr. Tom will celebrate a special mass for your intentions. May Conor now Rest In Peace with his darling daughter, Moninne.
"The light of his love will always shine on us."
QUINN - Conor (August 31, 2020) - Remembering Conor on his Second Anniversary with great love and sadness. Deeply missed by Hilary, Ciara, Ronan, Cillian and their families.
