FAUL - Dr Peter James MD FRCPI, County Physician (Kilkenny City and late of Louth Village, Co Louth) 12th December 2025, peacefully at St Vincent's Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Noreen (nee Moloney), brothers Monsignor Denis PP and Stephen, sisters Mary (Mast), Brigid (Mac Artain) and Dr Eleanor. Deeply regretted by his loving children Clare (Harrison), Honora, Peter Nicholas, John and Ann (Malpass) and his brother Terence. Adored grandfather of John, Louise, Mary, Elizabeth, Catherine, John, Philip, Peter, Joseph, Nicholas and Hannah. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Nora, sons in law Vincent Harrison and Charles Malpass, daughters in law Catherine Cleary, and Clodagh Hickey-Dwyer, nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends and colleagues. Rest In Peace. Reposing in Hehir's Funeral Home Kilkenny (R95 FH90) today Monday 15th December from 4.30pm with prayers at 6.30pm, followed by removal to St Patrick's Church, Kilkenny. Requiem mass on Tuesday at 2pm followed by burial in Foulkstown cemetery. Family flowers only please and House private.

To the Faul Family: Phil and I send our deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved father. My parents so enjoyed an evening they spent with your parents in Kilkenny, and I loved seeing him on our Zooms with Clare and Family, and Honora. He and your mother created an amazing family of brilliant and wonderful children and you are their greatest legacy. Sending prayers and love from Pittsburgh, PA USA.
