SHANNON Carmel (Knockroe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary) - July 9, 2010 (peacefully) in the kind care of Marymount Hospice, Cork, surrounded by her beloved husband and best friend Raymond, daughter Denise, son Kenneth, sister Sr. Aidan O'Brien and fiancée of Kenneth, Elena Alonso Rodriguez; she will be deeply missed by her brother Kevin O'Brien, Aunt Nancy O'Sullivan, son-in-law Fiachra Sheridan and beloved grandchildren Xabi and Julen, also deeply missed by her very dear brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and loving friends. Requiem Mass today (Tuesday) at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Cranny, Co. Clare, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in her memory to Marymount Hospice, Cork."To have known her is to love her."
