O'CARROLL Seamus (James) (Sutton, Dublin 13) Who died suddenly on July 17, 2014 in West Cork - Eileen (O'Neill) and family, Seamus' family, his sister Vera and brothers Michael and Brian wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who assisted Seamus in Oysterhaven, the local people who first arrived at the scene to offer assistance, the members of the Coast Guard, the members of the RNLI, the Ambulance Personnel and the Gardai, particularly, Sgt. Pat Ryan and Garda John Lawton. Also, Rev. Fr. George Murphy and Dr. Carmel Murphy who attended Seamus, and to Robert Gabriel Undertakers. A special word of thanks to John Mitchell and Pat and Liz French also in Oysterhaven for their extreme kindness and support. Sincere thanks to Kevin Kinna and Fanagans Undertakers for their courtesy, guidance and assistance in coordinating all the funeral arrangements. Our very grateful thanks to all who participated in making Seamus' final farewell so meaningful and memorable, in particular, Dermot Quinn Funeral Coordinator and Rev Fr Liam Lacey of St Fintan's Church for their support and guidance in arranging the funeral Mass; to Seamus' cousin Rev Fr Vincent Browne of Blackrock College and Rev. Mgr. John Fitzpatrick of St. Fintan's Church who concelebrated the Mass and Margaret Brennan for her beautiful singing. A very special thank you to Seamus' life long friend Tom Cullen for such a warm and thoughtful eulogy. Our heartfelt thanks to all our relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours who called to the house, visited the funeral home and attended the funeral Mass, many of whom travelled long distances. To all in Howth Yacht Club who have been a tremendous source of support. To all for sharing so many fond memories of Seamus in the numerous letters, cards, messages and phone calls we have received, they are all a great source of solace. As a token of our deep appreciation and gratitude the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
