Clare and Los Angeles, USA), August 5, 2016, (peacefully), in the loving care of his family, long time friend Sr. Nuala and staff at Cahercalla Hospice, pre-deceased by his sister Mary and brothers Flan and Noel and nephew Graham; deeply regretted by his sister Claire, sisters-in-law Rita and Catherine, nieces, nephews, extended family, his brother priests and faithful people whom he served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Reposing at his niece Imelda's home, Lahinch Road, Ennis today (Monday) from 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock Arriving for Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2 o'clock in St. Peter and Paul's Cathedral, Ennis with burial afterwards in Drumcliffe Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations if desired to Cahercalla Hospice. House private tomorrow (Tuesday) morning please.May he Rest in Peace.</p>

<p>Most Beloved Priest</p> <p>Fr. Cassidy graces our Immaculate Conception Parish in Monrovia, CA with love, service, and humor for many decades. We are so very blessed to have known such a wonderful priest. I know there were many greeters in heaven to welcome him to eternity as God said "Well done, good and faithful servant".</p>
