VAUGHAN - Dr. Peter Vaughan F.F.A. R.C.S.I. (Kilkenny and formerly of Rathgar, Dublin and Tullamore, Co Offaly) died on 24th February 2026 on his 69th birthday, peacefully at home, with his beloved family, after a brave battle fought with great dignity and courage. Dearly loved, loving husband

and best friend of Lyndy, devoted father of Andrew.

Peter will be sadly missed by all his family; parents-in-law Hazel and Harry Meyer, brother Richard, sister Linda, sister-in-law, nieces, cousins and all his relatives, colleagues in the medical field and his wide circle of friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held in St John’s Priory Church,

John Street, Kilkenny on Friday 27th February at 12.30pm, followed by a private cremation at Mount Jerome.

Family flowers only, please, but donations may be made to the Irish Cancer Society. House strictly private, please.

Peter was my father’s best man at his wedding. My father Dr.Peter Moran passed away november 1st 2025 and I am very sad to learn of Peter’s passing shortly after my fathers. May they both RIP I remember our trip to the south of France all together fondly!
