McCABE, Capt. P.G. (Gerry) (Newlands Park, Clondalkin) - died May 21, 2012. As we remember Gerry's birthday today, his wife, Pauline, daughters, son, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who helped us through our great loss. Firstly, we thank Father Damian and the priests and clergy of the parish for their wonderful celebration of Gerry's funeral Mass. A special word of appreciation to the choir who performed, beautifully, many of Gerry's favourite hymns. We thank the members of the Air Corps, the guard of honour from ONE and representation from the Dept. of Transport and IAA for their valued presence. We cannot express enough thanks to our wonderful neighbours and friends from Clondalkin and beyond, who went to great lengths to support us in our time of need. We remember also those who cared for Gerry during his illness, in particular, his carer, Pat O'Brien, family doctor, Hugh Nohilly, and staff at the Mater Private Hospital and Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross. To everyone who wrote to us, sent Mass cards and flowers, we say thank you for remembering us. We hope that you can accept this acknowledgement as a genuine token of our gratitude. Mass has been offered for your intentions.
