DOWNEY Moira (Monkstown, Co. Dublin.) March 28, 2019 peacefully at home in Fermoy, Co. Cork. Surrounded by her loving family. Moira (née Stevenson), beloved wife of the late James, dear mother of Rachel and Vanessa, loving grandmother of Sean, James, Catherine and Colm. Greatly missed by her family, sisters Mollie and Colleen, brother Malcolm, sons-in-law Sean and Brendan, brothers-in-law, extended family and friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at Gurrane, Fermoy this (Saturday) evening 4.00.pm. to 7.00.pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (April 1) at 12.00. noon at St. Patrick'Church, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim, and burial afterwards at Creevelea Abbey. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired to Marymount Hospice Home Care. Moira's family extend their sincere thanks to Marymount Hospice Home Care Team and the Fermoy Public Health Nursing team for their dedicated care.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.
DOWNEY (née Stevenson), Moira, (Monkstown, Co Dublin) - On Moira's First Anniversary, March 28, her daughters Rachel and Vanessa, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sisters and brother and extended family wish to thank most sincerely all those who attended her reposing and funeral, sent Mass cards and letters of condolence and kind telephone calls. All have been very comforting to us. A special thanks to all the home care team of nurses at Marymount Hospice who were such a support to Mum. Remembered with love and sadly missed every day.
