HOGAN, (September 6, 2016), Mark James (Megaray, his performing name), musician (suddenly) at age 59 at home in Dublin 4. On September 12 a private ceremony at Mount Jerome Crematorium was attended by his parents Brian and Marie, his wife Miriam, his brothers Brian and Stephen, his aunt Jane and uncle Paul, friends from school days, and musicians from groups that Mark had performed with over the years who testified to his skill and creativity as a bass guitarist. Filial messages were read from his daughter Nadine (in Australia) and son James (in China). May you find eternal contentment, dear Mark, with good musicians who went before you to a better place.

Really sorry to hear this, played music with Mark in the late 70s and really liked him, a pity that he has died so young. Mark Lysaght
