GREENE Máire Cristín ('Boathaven', 30 Dun na Carraige Blackrock Salthill Galway) - January 6, 2014. Dearly beloved daughter of Cathy and Ronnie and devoted big sister to William and Isabelle. Deeply cherished by the extended Greene and Hughes families and large circle of friends. Reposing at Caher House, Caher, Loughrea Co. Galway tomorrow, Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal on Friday morning for Mass at 12 noon in St Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea. Burial afterwards in the Carmelite Abbey Cemetery, Loughrea. House private on Wednesday.

<p>Maire - your light will shine bright in the hearts of all who new you.</p> I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Maire brightened up the lives of so many people who were lucky to know her in Darwin. In work she was fearless, working amongst big machinery, getting the job done with the most cheerful disposition ever. Her voice across the work radio channel made every Irish person that little bit more proud to be from Ireland. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
