O'CONNELL Niall James (Jim) (Ballyweelin, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo), February, 1, 2010 - Jim's wife Ursula, children Judy, Bobby, Emily, Evelyn, Petria, Susan, brother Ralph and extended family wish to convey their thanks to all who expressed condolences at the sad passing of Jim. Our thanks to our relatives, neighbours and friends whose kindness continues to comfort us. Our sincere thanks to the clergy and to the choir. We value greatly the solace we received from Jim's beautiful funeral Mass. We would also like to thank all who cared for Jim in hospital and at home. We will always treasure your kindness and support. Our thanks to Jim's Player-Wills colleagues and friends who travelled long distances to be with us. To the past Captains of County Sligo Golf Club, we express our thanks for your meaningful tribute to Jim. Month's Mind Mass for Jim will be offered on Sunday 28th February, 2010 in St. Columba's Church, Rosses Point at 11 a.m.
