CLIFFORD, John, (Cork and Cahirciveen) July 14, 2016. On this the First Anniversary of John's death Aideen, Michael, Eoin, Neil and Una would like to thank all those who sympathised with them at that sad time. Our grateful appreciation in particular to the local clergy, the members of the Dominican Order and the parish choir who made the Requiem Mass so meaningful and the Gardai who provided the police escort afterwards. A special word of thanks to those who travelled long distances to be present at the Funeral, the many members of the legal profession who attended and his many friends and relations in Kerry who came in large numbers. John had many friends in the last years of his illness and these were a welcome support to him - to those we say a sincere thank you. To the excellent staff of Oakllodge Nursing home where John spent his final days, to the many friends and neighbours here in Cork who helped in many ways,to those who sent letters or cards of sympathy - to all we are indeed grateful. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a measure of our heartfelt appreciation.
