McGOVERN, Sylvia (née O’Mahony) (Brighton Road, Foxrock and formerly Mary Street, Cork City) April 20, 2023,(died peacefully) at The Blackrock Clinic with her family by her side. Predeceased by her dearly beloved husband Tom, parents Sylvester and Bridget and brothers Finbar and Donal. Loving mother of Patricia, Tony, Noel, Michelle, Thomas and Elaine. She will be loved always and very sadly missed by her loving children, their partners, her grandchildren: Marcus, Simon, Gary, Méabh, Róisin, Seán, Tom, David, Emily, Daniel, Max, Hugh and Mark, and her great-grandchildren Alec and Evan. Mourned and sadly missed by her brothers Anthony and Gerard, extended family, relatives, and friends. Sylvia's Requiem Mass will take place this (Monday) morning in the Church Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, Co Dublin at 11am. Burial thereafter in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers, only, donations in lieu to the Gavin Glynn Foundation or The Irish Cancer Society. May she Rest in Peace
