NEVIN, (Dublin and late of Limerick) - December 16, 2012, (peacefully) at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Donal, in his 89th year, (former General Secretary, Irish Congress of Trade Unions); loving husband for 52 years of Maura (Murphy); adored father of Anne and last surviving child of the late Thomas and Alice Nevin, Cornmarket Row, Limerick. Pre-deceased by his brothers Thomas, Jack, Frank, and Dermot and by his sisters Stasia (Bowman), Maureen (Flanagan) and Eileen (Smyth); deeply missed by his wife, daughter, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Maura and Anne would like to acknowledge the tender care given to Donal by the staff of Whitebeam, Clonskeagh Hospital. Removal this (Tuesday) evening from Fanagans Funeral Home Dundrum to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 11.30 o'c followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery."May his gentle soul rest in peace"
