BIRD (née Murphy), Imelda, (Templeogue and formerly of Harold's Cross), April 17, 2017 (peacefully) after a short illness surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the staff at Blackrock Clinic; beloved wife of Jim and dear mum of Ruth, David and Hazel; she will be sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Charlie, Robbie, Ruby and baby Billy, extended family and friends. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to St. Maelruain's Church, Tallaght arriving for 11.00 o'c Service, followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery. BIRD Imelda (née Murphy) - (First Anniversary, April 17, 2017) In loving memory of Imelda. Who died in the caring hands of the staff of the ICU in Blackrock Clinic. Sadly missed by husband Jim, children Ruth David and Hazel, grandchildren and extended family. Sincere gratitude to those who supported us with cards and letters of condolences. A special thank you to our friends in St. Maelruains Bowling Club who provided a guard of honour. Also thank you to all her friends and colleagues in DSE. We wish to express our gratitude to Canon William Deverell and Rev. Willie Black for their support. Imelda's passing has created a void in all our lives and she is lovingly thought of every day.
