WEEKES, Very Reverend Cecil William (Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Dublin) - June 12, 2012, unexpectedly, under the exceptional care of the doctors and nurses of Aut Even Hospital, in his 81st year, dearly loved and loving husband of Mildred, father of Susan, Avril, Lynda and Karen and adored Papa of Lynsey, Robbie, Gillian, Lauren and Roslyn. Greatly missed by all his extended family and friends. Funeral Service on Friday (June 15) at 2.30 o'clock in St. Canice's Cathedral, Kilkenny. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to a charity of choice. House private please.

<p>So sorry!</p> <p>I just heard the sad news of Cecil's passing. I am so very sorry and send my love and sympathy to you all.</p> <p>Your Dad gave me my first ever real job in the electrical department. I had no idea what I was doing and made dozens of stupid mistakes. He reassured me and treated me with such kindness and understanding - I'll never forget it.</p> <p>Your Dad and husband was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed.</p> <p>You are all in my prayers,</p> <p>Love, Diana</p>
