HOARE Michael, Retired Garda Superintendent, Swords, Co. Dublin, died January 9, 2011. On this First Anniversary of his passing, his wife Judy, daughter Siobhan, sons Kenneth, Paul and Neil, son-in-law Paul, granddaughter Aine, father Liam, step mother Evelyn, sisters Mary and Eileen, brothers Seamus and Sean, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and his fond aunt Lizzie and Michael's extended family wish to express our grateful thanks to all who sympathised with us during the sad days of our great loss and those who supported us then, and throughout the months since. We thank our relatives, friends, neighbours in Swords and Moycullen and all of Michael's work colleagues who visited the house, attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial. Thanks to Fr. Paul Thornton, Brackenstown Parish for his support. Thanks for the Masses, prayers, messages of sympathy for Michael and us and generous donation to Fr. Mike, Sarnelli House, Thailand. Our deep appreciation to the concelebrants of the funeral Mass, with a special thank you to Fr. Michael McLoughlin, Parish Priest, Moycullen. We would especially like to thank Fr. Tom Sexton for the wonderful way he reminded us of Michael's life during the Mass. To the good friends and family, who prepared the grave and to Michael's brothers-in-law, Mairtin and Joe who sang final farewell songs and our cousin Loretta Gavin on flute. Go raibh maith agaibh. Thanks to members of An Garda Siochana who provided an escort. To Rocks Funeral Directors (Swords) and to Kevin and Kathy Kyne, funeral directors (Moycullen), we appreciate your kind and professional service. Thanks to "The Star Bar" (Swords) and to "the Forge" (Moycullen) for their service and support with a special thank you to the Downey family (Moycullen). We also wish to express our appreciation and thanks to all staff, medical, nursing and domestic of the Beacon Hospital where Michael was so well cared for. (Mr. Mascott, Ita and Catherine). Michael so appreciated and enjoyed all the visits and cards he received in hospital during his short illness. Thanks also to Prof. Tubridy and colleagues of Michael's daughter Siobhan in St. Vincents hospital for their help, advice and support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. We miss Michael terribly, but realise we were blessed to have him in our lives. His First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 12, 2013 at 6.30pm in the Church of Immaculate Conception, Moycullen, Co. Galway.
