from cousin Roy....

Words fail me; John and I met briefly about a decade ago, at some event in Blackrock, and it had been on my conscience that we failed to keep in touch. I had been in recent months hoping to make contact, having been looking into WW1 material and its Irish dimension; I was wondering if John's father my Uncle Jack had left any memoirs of his part in the Gallipoli episode; I phoned today and left a message, but I hear badly; I prefer e-mail; I am best accessible via roy@rjtechne.org and I would welcome a reply.
