O'DWYER Stephen (Steve) (Rathfarnham, Dublin late of Drumdowney, Slieverue) - December 29, 2015, (peacefully), after a bravely fought illness, surrounded by his family at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross; sadly missed by his loving wife June, children Stephen, Louise, Claire, Maria, Patricia, Jack and Mark, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many, many friends. Rest in Peace. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) evening to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am, followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Merchant's Quay, Ireland (www.mqi.ie).

Kilkenny) - On this, the First Anniversary of Steve's death (December 29, 2015) his beloved wife June and children Stephen, Louise, Claire, Maria, Patricia, Jack and Mark would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them, who sent messages of condolence, visited the funeral home, attended the removal and funeral, gave Mass cards and sympathy cards. Sincere thanks to the many priests who prayed with Steve during his illness and concelebrated the funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to Fr. Eanna O'Hobain and the Carmelite community of Terenure College, to Fr. Martin Noone, The Church of the Annunciation Rathfarnham, Fr. Pat and the priests of the Pallottine Order, Thurles and Dundrum. Our thanks to Fanagans Funeral Home for their prefessionalism. To Marian and George, thank you for your beautiful music. Sincere and grateful thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Catherine's Ward of Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross. Your care and dedicaton during our time with you was exceptional. Thank you also to the home care team from Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross. To Professor Orla Hardiman and The Motor Neurone Team at Beaumont Hospital, thank you for your support. Thank you also to all of the staff of Dodder Park Community Service Rathfarnham, Hiltons Pharmacy, our family Doctor Shane McKeogh and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association for your care and attention. To all of our friends, colleagues, relatives and neighbours, the staff and members of Slade Valley Golf Club. Thank you for all the support over the last number of years. To Fr. Pat and all of Steve's brothers and sisters and the extended family, for your tremendous support throughout Steve's illness and since his passing. We would like to thank, most sincerely, all of Steve's many friends, too many to mention. Thank you for being there for him, he cherished his time with you. Truly wonderful friends. Thank you for being so supportive to Steve and to us as a family. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually please accept this Acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
