PRENDERGAST (née Daly), Lesley, (Erindale, Friarstown, Kildare and formerly of Skibbereen, Co Cork) - January 16, 2020, (peacefully) at home , mother of the late Karen; sadly missed by her loving husband Kevin, daughters Andrea, Penny, Louise, Anne, Norma, Amanda and Natasha, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brother-in-law Paddy, sisters-in-law Eileen and Beryl, sister-in-law Una, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Lesley rest in peace. Reposing at McWey's Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town from 4 o'c tomorrow (Sunday) and (Monday) with prayers both nights at 7 o'clock Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30 o'clock to arrive at the Carmelites Church, Kildare Town for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock Private Cremation afterwards in Mt. Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross, Dublin. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to The Friends of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh. Donations box in Church. House private at all times please.
PRENDERGAST Lesley (Erindale, Friarstown, Kildare) - We the family of the late Lesley would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on the recent loss of Lesley and all those who attended the wake and the funeral Mass in the Carmelite Church. Thanks to everyone who gave mass cards and signed the book of condolences, to our kind relatives, neighbours and friends, those who generously donated to St. Brigid's Hospice, and to Glennons funeral directors for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thank you to Fr Praveen Lawrence, to singers Anthony McGorian and Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, and to Bernie Sherlock and singers from New Dublin Voices. As it would be impossible to mention every individual person, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere thanks.
