He will be very much missed by his children Orla, Jadzia and Jas, grandchildren Kazia, Liadain, Lana and Isak, sons-in-law Stephen and David, cousin Sura and a large circle of friends. Our thanks go out to our extended family and friends who have been tremendously supportive during this period. We are especially grateful for the wonderful care he received from his carers and the staff at St. Columcille’s Hospital. Jan will repose at home on Sunday, May 26 from 4pm to 6pm. A ceremony to celebrate Jan’s life will take place on Monday, May 27 at 10am in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland would be very much appreciated. At rest.

As we lovingly remember Jan on the First Anniversary of his death, his children, grandchildren and extended family wish to acknowledge the kind support of his loyal and loving friends and greatly appreciate his kind neighbours of many years. We also extend our deepest gratitude for the professional and loving care of Linda, Sarah and Linda, who brought Dad peace and dignity in his last years. Our heartfelt thanks to all who gathered around us and sympathised in our great loss and our gratitude for your sharing in the celebration and remembering of Jan's extraordinary life. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Dad is greatly missed, but remembered with love today and always. Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us everyday.
Unseen, unheard,
but always loved, still
Missed and very dear
