KERR - DR. RAYMOND, Bundoran, Co. Donegal, died December 12, 2023. On the First anniversary of Ray's death, Nuala, Elizabeth, Raymond and Louise wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on the loss of a much loved husband and a father. We will forever remember the kindness shown to us. Sincere thanks to all who sent letters of sympathy, Mass Cards, posted online messages, and who catered so well for all of us. To all those who attended the wake and Funeral Mass we so appreciate your presence. We especially thank our friends who visited Ray frequently who helped in every way to support us during a difficult time and for their continued invaluable support and thoughtful gestures. A very special word of thanks to Ray's friend, Bishop Ãamonn Walsh for his kindness to us all and for his celebration of the Funeral Mass. His uplifting homily very much captured the essence of Ray. We give thanks to all the Concelebrants, Fr. Jeremiah Munyoki, Canon Ramon Munster, Canon Dermot Burke and Fr. John Carroll. To John Fallon and Ray's former Remembrance Choir members and friends, we thank you for the beautiful choice of hymns and to Mary Campbell for her violin contribution of one of Ray's favourite pieces. We thank Ray's former colleagues and friends from Bayview Family Practice who cared for him in such a professional and sensitive manner and to the Public Health Nurses and Carers who helped to support him and us through his final illness. To all the Staff from the Practice who provided a Guard of Honour, your support and kindness will always be remembered. We thank the Funeral Director, Donal Breslin and his Team for their help and professionalism with all the arrangements, we are truly grateful. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Ray's First Anniversary Mass will take place on Saturday December 14, 2024 at 7pm in the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran.
