MacDONNELL, Hilda (Dr.), (Sandycove, Co Dublin) - On this the First Anniversary of her death on February 22, 2012, Hilda's sisters Flora and Una, brothers Domhnall and Aonghus, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and the extended family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them at their sad loss, who attended the Removal, Requiem Mass or burial, sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy. We hope all will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. We wish to thank the Matron and staff of San Remo Nursing Home in Bray for their care to Hilda in her latter years. Our special thanks and appreciation to Fr. Billy Farrell, who conducted the Removal service and celebrated the moving Requiem Mass at St. Joseph's Church in Glasthule, and for the prayers and blessing at the burial in Deansgrange. We also wish to thank most sincerely Vincentian priests, Fr. Thomas Davitt CM, Fr. Colm McAdam CM and Fr. Bernard Meade CM for concelebrating the Removal service with Fr. Farrell and our thanks also to Fr. Dennis Kennedy CSSP and Fr. Pat Collins CM who attended at the Removal Service and funeral Mass respectively. The family also wants to acknowledge with appreciation the attendance at the obsequies of so many of Hilda's friends and former colleagues from UCD and TCD. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.Ar dheis láimh Dé go raibh sí!
